Welcome to the home of Fjord Riders, participants in the Budapest-Bamako 2009.

Fjord Riders are Knut Inge Grøsland, Morten Briskelid and our lady Lada Niva. During 15 days in January 2009 we will join the Budapest - Bamako, a lowbudget alternative to the Paris-Dakar. The race will go through Hungary, Italy, France, Spain and Morocco, Mauritania and Mali. More than 200 cars/motorcycles will participate.

Our friends in Team Bilnor buy a Toyota 4Runner. Team Bilnor consist of the brothers Åsmund and Håkon Bie Aalvik and Øystein Andrè Lègdene.

Lada Niva 1.7

Both Morten and me have completely fallen in love with the russian car Lada Niva. Its a real car. After some searching we find a nice one made in 1997. Russian quality at its best, we hope... At least it looks very good.
